About
The roundtable meeting will discuss draft amendments to the election laws of the Gagauzia autonomy. These amendments have been developed under an OSCE-led project by the Chişinău-based non-governmental Association for Participatory Democracy (ADEPT) in consultation with Gagauz authorities. Their goal is to improve the election laws and procedures of Gagauzia and to ensure consistency with national legislation and international standards.
Participants will include Governor of the Gagauz autonomy Mihail Formuzal, Speaker of the People’s Assembly Anna Harlamenco and representatives from the Central Election Commission of Gagauzia, civil society and political parties.
