On 24 June 2016, the OSCE Mission to Moldova will organize a roundtable titled “Institutionalization of dialogue between central and regional authorities on implementation of Gagauz-Yeri autonomy”. During the roundtable, experts of the Comrat-based NGONGO
non-governmental organization Piligrim-Demo will present a recent report on “Joint commissions established between central and regional authorities: experience of initiating dialogue on the implementation of the status of Gagauz-Yeri autonomy”, which will be followed by discussions.
Representatives of the Moldovan Parliament, the authorities of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, civil society and the international community will take part in the roundtable. The report was prepared as part of a one-year project that aims to establish a mechanism for national minority youth and civil society to engage in public discussions and public service in Moldova.
