About
The participants include the chief political negotiators from both sides, the Co-Chairs of the Joint Expert Working Groups on Confidence Building Measures and members of the Joint Control Commission, which oversees the ceasefire in the conflict. There will be three working groups covering a range of issues of mutual interest, such as law enforcement and security, trade and transport, ecology and health.
The Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and the mediators and observers to the '5+2' will also attend and take part in the discussions.
The 5+2 group comprises Moldova, Transdniestria, Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE, as well as the observers from the European Union and the United States.
