Ahead of the 2011 local elections, the OSCE Mission to Moldova, in co-operation with the International Center for the Advancement of Women in Business, an NGO, conducted a series of training seminars on running for public office for 150 women from all over Moldova. The first such seminar took place in Cahul on 21 March 2011.
