The OSCE Mission to Moldova encourages students from Gagauzia and Transdniestria to apply before 6 April 2012 for scholarships to study at the Chişinău School of Advanced Journalism run by the Independent Journalism Centre.
The OSCE-provided scholarships cover the tuition fee and a monthly allowance. Students who are eligible for studies, but need to improve their proficiency in Romanian can receive a scholarship for language classes.
The deadline for submitting applications is 6 April 2012; more details can be found on the School’s webpage.
The OSCE Mission has offered scholarships to journalism students since 2007, in order to help support the development of independent professional media in Moldova.
