Guide on Providing State Guaranteed Primary Legal Aid by Future Lawyers
This Guide contains a brief overview of the system of state guaranteed legal aid in Moldova and defines the potential role of law students in this system. It outlines steps to be followed when interacting with beneficiaries of primary legal aid, as well as a number of certain administrative and logistical procedures. The Guide is intended for use by law students and those working in the system of state guaranteed legal aid. Its aim is to enhance the protection of the rights of vulnerable persons and to strengthen the professional capacity of future lawyers. The guide has been produced as part of a project implemented jointly by the OSCE Mission to Moldova and the Chisinau-based NGONGO
non-governmental organization Institute for Penal Reform. It is not available in English.
